Minutes of Upton Warren Parish Council

Held on Monday 23^rd May 2011 immediately following AGM and Annual Parish Meeting.

PRESENT.

Councillor C. Scott (Chairman), C. Poole (Vice-Chair), T. Daly, T. Dunkley.

District Councillor Mrs Pearce.

DECLARATION OF INTEREST.

MINUTES.

The Minutes of the Meeting held on Wednesday 16^th March 2010 were approved by the Council and signed by the Chairman as a true record.

PROGRESS REPORT.

BYWATER FARM – ENFORCEMENT.  

Legal Aid had been authorised to challenge the Inspectors decision, deadline 27^th May.

SWAN INN – BOUNDARY APPEARANCE.  

The quotation of £335. 00 was accepted prior to the Meeting, the work was now complete.  It was agreed to approach the brewery with a view to shared maintenance cost.

ACTIVITY ON LAND A38.

The horse sales were under close observation.  Planning application for an agricultural barn and hard core track was anticipated.

FINANCE.

ACCOUNTS FOR PAYMENT.

Cheques were drawn in favour of:-

David Miles Gardening Services £169.00 – Lengthsman.  

Worcestershire County Council £10.00 (Room Hire). 

Worcestershire CALC £132.02 (Subscription).   Proposed by Councillor Scott and seconded by Councillor Daly.

Insurance – It was agreed to research more favourable terms.

The next Council Meeting was scheduled for September therefore cheques were signed to cover anticipated invoices.

DISTRICT COUNCILLORS REPORT.

Nothing further.

PARISH MATTERS FOR DISCUSSION.

Several gully covers missing.

Research maintenance on footpath from Swan Lane to Church.

There being No Further Matters for discussion the Chairman closed the Meeting at 9.05pm.

The next Parish Council Meeting to be held on Wednesday 7^th September 2011 at 7.30pm.
