Held on Wednesday 11^th January 2012.

RESIGNATION OF TIM DALY.

After 25 years of dedicated service , members of Upton Warren Parish Council were sorry to receive Councillor Tim Daly’s resignation, his local knowledge of the Parish has been invaluable.

The Council wish to thank Tim for his commitment during his time in office and wish him every good wish for the future.

PRECEPT 2012/13.

The Parish precept was agreed at £2,750 representing a nil increase.

CHARITIES.

ELIZABETH LACY EDUCATIONAL FUND.  
The Parish Council were pleased to hear that as a result of a grant from the Elizabeth Lacey Educational Fund towards the cost of course books, resident Isabel Collins has now completed her studies and is in full time employment.

The Charity is for young people from the Parish who may require financial assistance towards the purchase of books etc to assist with their studies.

SAUNDERS CHARITY.  
Funding available for young people embarking on an apprenticeship.

PLANNING APPLICATION.

Land North of Rectory Farm, Rectory Lane.   Extension to area of hardstanding (retrospective).

The Council were uneasy with the retrospective aspect, no further comments to make.

The next Parish Council Meeting will be held at the Sailing Centre on Monday 26^th March 2012 at 7.30pm.
