Upton Warren Parish Council Meeting

Held on Wednesday 14^th October 2009 at 7.30pm.

PRESENT.
Councillors:  C.Scott - Chairman, C. Poole - Vice-Chair, T. Daly, J. Cartwright. District Councillor Mrs. J. Pearce, County Councillor M. Broomfield.

DECLARATION OF INTEREST.

MINUTES.

The Minutes of the Meeting held on Wednesday 29^th July 2009 were approved by the Council and signed by the Chairman as a true record.

PROGRESS REPORT.

BUS SHELTER A38.  
A site meeting to be arranged with Mr. E. Webb of Webbs Garden Centre.  Councillors Daly and Cartwright agreed to attend.

SWAN INN - UNSIGHTLY APPEARANCE OF CAR PARK BOUNDARY.  
Two requests made from the Parish Council for the overgrowth to be cleared, no action taken.  A letter to be sent to Area Management.

FINANCE.

Cheques were drawn in favour of:-

Mrs. G. Pinfield - Expenses £104. 32.  Salary (6 months) £700. 00.  
David Miles Gardening Services (Lengthsman) 3 months £504. 00. 
Clement Keys £138. 00 (External Audit).

DISTRICT COUNCILLORS REPORT.

Budget consultation taking place at Wychavon.

Re-development of De Wyche Road Flats, Wychbold - 20 properties to be made available for local people.

County Councillor Broomfield reported that Worcestershire County Highways were undertaking a review of the speed limits within the County.

PARISH MATTERS FOR DISCUSSION.

A signpost was missing from a public footpath at Swan Lane.

Councillor Poole on behalf of St. Michael's Church asked the Council to consider a contribution towards the cost of a ramp at the church entrance £150. 00, agreed in principle.  Agenda next Meeting.

There being No Further Matters for Discussion the Chairman closed the Meeting at 8.15p.m.
